C5 Artists Foundation
The C5 Artists Foundation is a nonprofit organization 501(c)(3) dedicated to uplifting and empowering the dance community through financial assistance, educational opportunities, and wellness support. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive environment designed to cultivate dance education, creation, and performance for choreographers, dancers, and all artists in need.
At the heart of our work is the belief that artistry thrives when artists are supported not just in their craft, but in every aspect of their lives. We fulfill this mission by offering unrestricted awards, project-based funding, and health and well-being support to members of the dance community facing financial distress or professional setbacks. These resources help artists regain momentum in their careers and continue contributing to the cultural landscape.
The C5 Artists Foundation was established by Jay and Jeremy as a way to give back to the dance community. With more than 30 years immersed in the world of dance arts, Jeremy sought to create an enduring platform that supports and uplifts the next generation of artists. Guided by his experience and made possible through Jay’s steadfast support and business background, the Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that dance continues to thrive as both an art form and a community.
Our annual fundraising event, Dance Divas, is a show-stopping dance concert that brings together some of the most talented dancers from across the Chicago dance community. These incredible artists unite on one stage to raise vital funds that directly support the dance community itself. It’s a performance created by the dancers, for the dancers—a one-of-a-kind celebration of artistry, passion, and purpose. Expect a dazzling spectacle of pure dance talent, all in support of a truly great cause.
